Our Program

Imagine a place that inspires you to learn and grow more every day. An environment that fosters exciting Torah learning coupled with tangible work that brings the ancient wisdom of Judaism to life right before your very eyes.

That vision is our reality here at Kibby Farms. As students ourselves in traditional Yeshivas we know first-hand the frustration and pain created by the wrong learning environment. We also know that every student is a unique individual, each of us learn in profoundly different ways. It was that vision that has inspired our academic program from start to finish. We have carefully gone over every course making sure it exemplifies our mission to bring a renewed state of joy and love to learning Torah in a meaningful and down-to-earth way.

A Sample Day of Learning at Kibby Farms

Unlike the crowded and noisy Yeshiva hall our intimate and quote classroom setting is focused on personal development and enrichment.

We begin our day with a discourse in Chassidus, or what we like to call a “journey to the essence of ourselves”. The main goal being to fuse the learning with the learner and create inspiration that will last the whole day.

We encourage our students to lead service and lain the Torah. For those students who are not proficient in laining we offer guidance and an opportunity to improve those skills on Mondays and Thursdays.

Following Shacharis and breakfast, out study lessons begin. Our primary courses range from the enthralling challenges of the Talmud, exciting history discussions and thought provoking additional courses that run the gamut of exploratory Jewish thought.

In the evenings, in family style groups we learn from the Chumash and delve into the pragmatic wisdom of the Tanya, a chasidic text who grapples with the issues of identity, faith and connection.

An example of bringing Torah to life is our mock trials where students get to pick a Jewish law and prepare a live mock trial debating sides based on their own in depth research and exploration.

Our belief is that “A healthy body makes for a healthy mind”. We have many different recreational outlets inside and out giving our student the time they need to relax and have fun.

Inside:
We have a game room with a pool and ping pong tables, a variety of musical instruments and amazing art rooms with sculpting and painting equipment.

Outside:
We have a basketball court and plenty of space for football and soccer. Students can take cooking and art classes or they can enjoy hanging out with the animals.

Trips:
We want our students to feel like they are not just working and learning but also having fun. We feel it’s important to show them how to appreciate life from many different angles, with one of them being: hiking, camping, ATVing and many other exciting trips.
